Social Media Logos / Avatar

Consistency across mediums and platforms is paramount to build a strong brand identity. If your unit requires a social media logo / avatar / profile icon, one will be created based on the system established below.

The mandatory inclusion of the university logo will aid brand recognition and credibility. Additionally, the consistent and wide use of the university logo will increase awareness and expand the reach of the CBU brand on social media.

Social Media Logo System

By default, the official unit logo can and should be used as the social media avatar.

However, due to the typically small dimension of a social media avatar, a modification to the unit logo may be necessary. Modifications are done by the Department of Marketing and Communication. For additional detail please refer to CBU’s social media guideline / policy.

These optional logo modifications are to be used exclusively within the context of social media where the official / full name of the unit is displayed next to the avatar.

  • CBU Performing Arts instead of Shelby and Ferne Collinsworth School of Performing Arts

  • CBU Engineering instead of Gordon and Jill Bourns College of Engineering
